Description

What does a Doctor Sultan microbiome analysis include?

The gut microbiome is a very complex ecosystem, with abnormalities in its composition being associated with various symptoms and disease states. The Doctor Sultan analyses all sorts of diseases/syndromes, giving you in-depth insights into your body’s health and condition.

What does a Doctor Sultan parasite examination include?

A parasite examination from Doctor Sultan includes at least 17 parasite tests. It is our mission to make your examination experience as comfortable as possible. Order your collection kit here with all supplies for a smooth and hygienic sample collection. Unlike other labs, we only need 1 sample for a successful examination result. That’s simple and fast!

What is the gut microbiome?

The gut microbiome is the set of microorganisms found in the gastrointestinal system. There are billions of these microorganisms present in the intestines and they are (mostly) beneficial.

How do all these bacteria affect your health?

Gut bacteria contribute to proper digestion and provide protection against pathogens. Research on gut bacteria has yielded a lot of new information in recent years. Changes in the gut microbiome can be linked to various allergies and intestinal diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn’s disease. The changes also seem to affect our mood, immunity, and obesity, and there is even clear evidence of a relationship between disturbed gut balance and the risk of various cancers, cardiovascular disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

A unique feature of Doctor Sultan’s gut microbiome program is that all living microorganisms in the gut microbiome are measured. With our method, in addition to full insight into the composition, we also provide insight into the group of microorganisms that do not fall within the analyzed bacterial groups. Thus, we also measure the organisms that are missed by other detection methods. This gives a fair and clear picture of the coverage of the process and contributes to the predictive value of gut microbiome research.
